Asset Management Improvement Partnership - 01.12.25

Asset Management Improvement Partnership (AMIP) will be taking place on Monday 1 December 2025 in the Long Room at the Honourable Artillery Company (The HAC).
We are delighted to announce the following speakers at this event:
- Anthony Taylor, Building Safety Alliance – explores what competence really means under the Building Safety Act for both individuals and organisations, outlining how landlords, contractors and asset teams can evidence and maintain competence in line with the latest guidance.
- Watford Community Housing and Potter Raper – demonstrate how collaboration between landlords and delivery partners strengthens assurance, quality and competence across projects, with examples of partnership models that drive accountability and deliver consistent results.
- Skills Solutions Group – discusses how competence extends beyond technical skills to include culture, confidence and behaviours, highlighting practical ways to embed continuous competence across teams and leadership.
- AtkinsRéalis – share insight into assessing sites for new build suitability and embedding sustainable best practice, including how to appraise existing assets and balance retrofit versus rebuild decisions, supported by a real-life case study.
During the lunchtime period, delegates will receive an overview from the House Manager about the Honourable Artillery Company, the oldest regiment in the British Army, dating back to 1537 as well as Armoury House, which houses the Long Room, which is the Regiment’s Mess and where members’ lunch is normally served.
